Pre-opening Ceremony of SBS, July 1997
Shangpa Rinpoche and Lodro Rinpoche conducted the pre-opening ceremonies for the new Saraha Buddhist Society on 13 July 1997.
Many devotees gathered to witness the ceremonies and rituals, which marked an important step for the spread
of the Kagyu teachings in Malaysia. From this point onwards, practice could take place at the centre, in its blessed shrineroom.
