Visit of HH 17 Karmapa - Karma Pakshi Empowerment

On this, the second day of His Holiness 17th Gyalwa Karmapa's visit, there were two events. From 10.30am to 12 noon His Holiness held a meeting with the Management Committee and Organising Committee of the Karma Kagyu Dharma Society, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Later that day, from 8 to 10pm HH 17 Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje granted the Karma Pakshi Empowerment on the attending Lamas and Devotees at the centre.

From 8 - 10pm, HH 17 Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje gave the Karma Pakshi Empowerment to all those present at the Karma Kagyu Dharma Society, Kuala Lumpur. Karma Pakshi was the second of the illustrious line of Gyalwa Karmapas, and was the first recognised Tulku in Tibet. He was famed for many things, including his miraculous powers. His empowerment and practice (sadhana) has always been highly revered in the Karma Kagyu lineage.
