We are very happy to announce the upcoming visit to our new centre of His Holiness 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Thaye Dorje. It is 7 years since his previous visit.

His Holiness will preside over the official Opening Ceremony and many other Dharma Activities during his one week stay in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is a very rare opportunity to spend time with the head of the Karma Kagyu lineage and receive empowerments.

It is our good fortune to have 2 Rinpoches and 3 Lamas currently visiting our centre, including Ven. Tsangsar Tulku Rinpoche and his brother. Tsangsar Rinpoche was at the Kagyu Monlam last December.

Having just visited the Singapore centre (where they conducted a Chod puja), they are now in Malaysia to conduct Dharma activities. Tsangsar Rinpoche will lead the following events:

We are honored to have Shangpa Rinpoche visiting us again this month to give a series of Dharma talks, Initiations and Pujas. His schedule will be as follows :

Rinpoche will give the Oral transmission on Chod puja since this puja will be done the whole day on Friday 26/8. (If anyone wishes to practise Chod, they will need to have received the transmission first.)

  On both days the 100 Deities Jang Chog puja continues in the morning and afternoon sessions, and ends with the burning of the deceased paper tablets at approximately 7pm.
